Georgina Plested
I am a third-year student at the beautiful California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. I am majoring in business administration with a concentration in accounting and information systems. Born in England, I grew up there in a small town only half an hour away from London. At the age of thirteen I moved to sunny California, twenty minutes away from Cal Poly! I love to do community service and have been a part of four community service clubs thus far. I have been president of two of those clubs which gave me plenty of experience in leadership. Travelling is a great passion of mine and I aspire to one day travel the world. So far I have been many places in Europe, some of Africa, and Thailand. My favourite place was by far the island of Mauritius. My family and I explored the jungles there, studying plants and animals, but especially orchids. I am a positive person who loves to learn and adventure!
